Our Love Story
How We Met
One fateful night Ana Laura was working at an event in Stanford University that Samuel was attending. If you know Samuel you know he isn't much for events with strangers and ended up striking up a conversation with a gorgeous waitress who somehow agreed to give him her number. After many text messages and lots of patience from Samuel she finally agreed to a date! Hop over to the First Date section to see how that story went.
Our First Date
On June 14th, 2017 Samuel and Ana Laura had their first date in Maggiano's Little Italy restaurant. The date in general went really well but the ending didn't go as well as either one had hoped. If you want to know the full story ask either one of them and they will happily tell you. But the most important thing is how it ended because all's well that ends well as they say!
Our Engagement
On August 27th, 2018 Samuel asked Ana Laura to be his wife but that's not the beginning of the story. For the beginning we have to backup a couple of days to the Saturday before when Ana Laura told Samuel that she wanted to visit a potential reception area that day. At the time neither of them knew that this is where Samuel was planning to ask her to marry him in just a few short days. This afforded Samuel a great excuse to get Ana Laura back there for the proposal! You can see how the proposal went for yourself in the pictures above.
